Congratulations to Maddy Pike, Beci Jamieson and Helen Jones who are now Artsmark assessors! Based on their knowledge and best practice of the use of arts in Doncaster schools, they will be assessing schools in Wakefield and Barnsley.

Artsmark is the national programme that enables schools, further education colleges and youth justice settings to evaluate, celebrate and strengthen a quality arts offer.

Visual artist Kate Sully is working on the Artist Access to Art Colleges (AA2A) scheme in Chesterfield. The scheme allows artists to undertake a period of research or realise a project, using workshops and supporting facilities in participating fine art and design departments.

The AA2A project provides placements for visual artists and designer makers in Higher and Further Education institutions across England. Find out more

Musician Phill Howley is playing drums with retro-folk singer Liz Green for her album launch. After winning Glastonbury's emerging talent competition five years ago, Liz's first album "O, Devotion!" has been eagerly awaited. Phill says: "I'm going to be playing with her on her album launches in Manchester and London and then hopefully more over the coming year." Find out more
