Better Deal Better Music focuses on using music technology to help Looked After Young People express themselves on issues which affect them.

Working mainly one-to-one with musician Phill Howley the young people started by recreating favourite tracks from their phones and then moved on to creating their own songs from scratch.

Staff from Better Deal were also involved to support the young people with information about substance misuse and sexual health.

The final stage of the project involved the young people working with film-maker Jim Lockey to produce a film to go with the original music.
