Excellent art

We all know what excellent art is, don’t we? It’s a concert in the Albert Hall, or a picture in the National Gallery, or a Shakespeare play at Stratford, isn’t it?

Well, yes, it can be, certainly, but isn’t it more than that? Isn’t it the way a song, or a poem, or a sculpture or whatever, touches you so deeply that it makes you want to cry, or shout, or laugh, because it chimes with you and your life and you just get it? Isn’t it about how it arouses your curiosity, and maybe makes you look at the world in a different way? Isn’t it about stopping you in your tracks and making you go, “Wow!”?

Of course even that isn’t the full story, and maybe we shouldn’t worry about defining it – it’s art, after all, and art doesn’t like being nailed down or put into neat little boxes. But at darts we do strive for excellence, both in the products we create and the journey we take people on. Over the past few years we’ve developed an artistic identity that has several distinctive strands. Find out more by clicking below.
