Right Up Our Street is about people in Doncaster choosing, making, seeing and sharing great art, music, theatre, film, dance, radio, poetry. Funded by Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places, the aim of Right Up Our Street is to get more people in Doncaster taking part in the arts. Along the way we'll also be doing research to find out what stops people getting involved and thinking of ways to get rid of these barriers in the future.

In 2016, at  the end of the three-year programme, we hope lots more people in Doncaster are enjoying the arts. Our work will be targeted in five areas: Balby, Bentley, Rossington, Mexborough and East Doncaster. We are setting up ‘Arts Bases’ in each community to support our work.
