Our participatory gallery

The gallery at The Point is a light airy space that is perfect for showing off great art... but at darts we want it to be even more than that... we want the artwork on display to enhance our work in the community with different groups of people. This is something we have been passionate about for years and will continue with in the future.

The Shifting Perspectives exhibition has proved inspirational to many...

Doncaster College photography students and a group of individuals with learning difficulties worked together to produce a set of photographs that are now on display outside the gallery. These images add Doncaster's own stamp to the Shifting Perspectives project.

The Blank Canvas Group created visual arts work inspired by the exhibition.

We also worked with Special schools in Doncaster who enjoyed creative workshops in the exhibition space with our artists.

The Orangery, an existing arts group of students aged 12-16 from North Ridge Special School which meets weekly in the building also used the exhibition space to inspire new work.
