Self-facilitated visits

The gallery is a vibrant contemporary space that encourages you to explore, look, listen, talk and make art. Use the gallery as inspiration to create your own gallery and works of art back at school or book an artist led workshop to support your visit.

To book a self-facilitated visit please telephone Amy on 01302 558041 or email amy@thepoint.org.uk.

Slots are available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 10am and 12 noon or 1pm – 3pm. We recommend that you book as early as possible to ensure you are able to visit on your preferred date.

2017 will include ‘Matisse, Drawing with Scissors, Late works 1950-1954′, a Hayward Touring exhibition from Southbank Centre, London. Find out more about our exhibition programme in the coming months.

Artist led workshops

We can offer schools an artist workshop for pupils during their visit. These sessions could be inspired by the exhibition on show in the gallery, a specific artform or a theme requested by the teacher. It’s a great way to achieve the ‘Looking at and talking about art’ outcome required as part of the curriculum.

We’ll also provide you with private access to the gallery, secure storage for belongings and high quality resources to accompany your visit.

A fee applies for artist led sessions. For more information or to make a booking please call Amy on 01302 558041 or email amy@thepoint.org.uk.
