A forum for crafty-fingered individuals who love to knit or crochet and are keen to share and develop their skills. From notice boards to vegetable stews, no project is too ambitious for this talented group!

Calling all men and women over 50 who feel the urge to dance! No experience or expertise necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm.

Sewing Group > Learn more about sewing, adults, weekly, free

Do you enjoy sewing and would like to share your skills with others? Or maybe you are a needlework novice looking for help and advice. All are welcome.

The group takes part in hand sewing/embroidery/patchwork. You can bring a sewing machine providing it has been PAT tested.

Beat it! > Free, music, after school, 9-16 yrs with a disability

Let's make some noise! A percussion music group for young people where unusual instruments and far out sounds are the norm. Sessions are designed especially for young people with disabilities.

9-16 years old with a disability.  You will need to stay in the session if your child needs regular adult support or has medical or personal care needs. Siblings are welcome. If your child can take part comfortably in group activity, why not sit in our café and enjoy a brew?

Singing in The Galleries > Youth Choir, Tuesdays, 11-19, free

Calling Doncaster’s musical youth! Do you find yourself singing along with tunes on your ipod? Join a choir with a difference. We want young people aged 11-19 to spend time in the gallery at The Point and use the visual art on display as inspiration for writing new songs and lyrics.

Dementia Awareness Week > Free, open to all, booking essential

Join us at The Point during Dementia Awareness Week (18-24 May) for free training that highlights how we can all make a positive difference to people living with dementia.

 

Anyone who wants to make a postiive difference to people living with Dementia.
