Swag Choir

This is a choir with a difference... a dynamic vocal group of young people with bags of attitude, combining R&B, Hip-Hop and dance tracks with choreography. Sessions are free and take place 6-7.30pm on Thursdays during term time.

Movers and Shakers > Over 50s dance, First Tuesday of month

Calling all men and women over 50 who feel the urge to dance! No experience or expertise necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm.

A great opportunity to make friends, de-stress and keep fit - before heading to the café for a well-deserved slice of cake.

Do you enjoy sewing and would like to share your skills with others? Or maybe you are a needlework novice looking for help and advice. All are welcome.

The group takes part in hand sewing/embroidery/patchwork. You can bring a sewing machine providing it has been PAT tested.

Join this friendly group if you are experiencing mental health difficulties such as anxiety or depression. In the morning we'll support you in your own creative activities and in the afternoon you can take part in an artist-led session.

If you’re an adult experiencing mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, stress or feelings of loneliness then we’d love to see you. 

Every Wednesday 10am-4pm. You're welcome to join us for all or part of the day.  In the morning (10am-12.30pm) we'll support you in your own creative activities and in the afternoon (1.30-3pm) you can take part in an artist-led session.

Are you a secret scribbler, vocal wordsmith, closet novelist or part-time poet? The focus of this group is on sparking ideas and exploring the power of words through creative writing. You don’t have to think you’re a great writer to join, you just need an interest in writing and a willingness to try new things. More info

Singing for Memory > Adults, music, twice a month

Singing for Memory is designed for people living with dementia and their carers to take part in friendly, fun and supportive singing sessions. Join Janet Wood and sing a variety of familiar and new songs. Each session starts with a relaxed welcome with refreshments. Sessions are generally for people in early to moderate stages of dementia and their carers.

Suitable for budding musicians or seasoned pros, this group features a 30 minute open workshop where you'll receive one-to-one and small group hints and tips followed by a 30 minute play-along session to music from the 60s to the present day spanning a variety of genres.
