Calling all men and women over 50 who feel the urge to dance! No experience or expertise necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm.

A friendly gathering of bookworms who love to dissect a good plot! From murder mysteries to historial fiction, come along to one of our meetings and share your views. There is no book group in August. We're back on Wednesday 3 September and we'll be talking about ‘A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing’ by Eimear McBride and ‘The Girl Who Saved the King of Sweden’ by Jonas Jonasson.

Aged 13 – 18? If you are a secret scribbler, closert novelist or part-time poet, come along and meet other young writers. You don't have to think you're an author or poet, just be keen to write more!

Do you enjoy sewing and would like to share your skills with others? Or maybe you are a needlework novice looking for help and advice. All are welcome.

The group takes part in hand sewing/embroidery/patchwork. You can bring a sewing machine providing it has been PAT tested.

From banging on pots and pans to trying out new and unusual instruments, you'll get to take part in a who range of musical experiences with our artists. These fun sessions aim to support the acquisition of early language and develop communication between children and adults.

Beat it! > Free, music, after school, 9-16 yrs with a disability

Let's make some noise! A percussion music group for young people where unusual instruments and far out sounds are the norm. Sessions are designed especially for young people with disabilities.

Work with professional musicians, try out the best apps on ipad, play instruments and test your skills with music tech.

Calling Doncaster’s musical youth! Do you find yourself singing along with tunes on your ipod? Join a choir with a difference. We want young people aged 11-19 to spend time in the gallery at The Point and use the visual art on display as inspiration for writing new songs and lyrics.
