iSing 2017

Great pictures from this year's event at the Dome

Nothing can prepare you for the fantastic sound of hundreds of young people singing together. iSing is Doncaster’s very own annual massed singing event where choirs from local secondary schools Doncaster Youth Swing Orchestra and a live rock band came together to create an amazing performance on Wednesday 29th March.

The 2017 iSing at The Dome featured choirs from Outwood Academy Danum, Trinity Academy, Serlby Park, XP School, The Hayfield School, Ridgewood School and The McAuley Catholic High School, alongside The Point’s own Swag Choir and Danum Homines Choir.

Singers and musicians performed well-known songs including ‘Feeling Good’, ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ as well as original music. Musicians Janet Wood and Jim Lunt worked with six schools to create a range of exciting new compositions.

iSing is organised by Doncaster Music Education Hub partners Doncaster Music Service, darts, (Doncaster Community Arts), Doncaster Youth Jazz Association and supported by Arts Council England.
