As part of the All Aboard project, families from Rossington worked with artists to find out Where The Wild Things Are...
The project, funded through the Extended Services initiative encourages schools to involve themselves in children's education beyond the classroom.
Prompted by the release of the feature film based on Maurice Sendak's legendary story, pupils from Pheasant Bank Primary School and their families used drama and music to explore the story of Max and the Wild Things...
During the session children and adults first moulded themselves into monsters and re-enacted the story. Then, they created an improvised soundscape using percussion instruments to accompany Max on his adventure – and reflected his moods and feelings with quiet sections and then crescendos of noise!
