The Point

DONCASTER'S ARTS BUILDING

The Point is home to darts. It’s where much of our work takes place together with a gallery and café which are open to the public during the week.

Originally converted from two listed Georgian terraces with a new build steel & glass extension to the rear, The Point opened in 1998 with funding from the National Lottery and the European Community. In 2007, with support from Futurebuilders England and Neighborhood Learning & Deprived Communities we extended The Point, more than doubling space for arts work and creating a brand new gallery.

The Point houses changing programmes of activity which are targeted at different individuals and groups within the community. This can range from under 4s and their adults to over 50s who come to dance to improve their health and well being. All activity is developed in partnership and with funding from other organisations.

The Point is open Monday to Friday 10 till 4pm and late till 9pm on most Wednesdays and Thursdays. We have limited parking for disabled visitors only.
