Monday 21 June – Friday 13 August
Horse racing themed exhibition under starters orders at The Point
Using the coloured silks worn by jockeys and the results of horse races across Britain as inspiration, local artist Nigel Clynick creates an exhibition filled with drawings, moving images, paintings and sculpture.
With colour combinations being decided by chance through racing results, he has created work which is exciting and unpredictable.
Fancy a flutter yourself? Then why not get involved...
Nigel needs your help to make a time lapsed film event where you get to select the colours used on a large wall grid. The results will be filmed and shown during the last week of the exhibition. To find out more contact The Point on 01302 341662 or just pop in.
Want to find out more about colour?
Join Nigel in the Café at The Point at 6pm on Wednesday 21 July for a chance to chat about his work, colour and how this can impact on your wellbeing. This session is free and open to all.
