The Big Jaw is moving in to the gallery at The Point, he has drawn the curtains and drawn a blank. He needs the friends of The Point to help him and his pets overcome his morbid fear of drawing.
When we told The Big Jaw that during October a national campaign called The Big Draw would bring lots of people to the gallery to show him that drawing is the perfect medium for observation, self expression and fun he agreed to peek from behind the curtain and join in.
Artists Tom Handley and Shirley Hudson will work with groups to create a large scale installation from recycled materials. The Big Jaw, his carpet The Big Floor, nasty moggy The Big Claw, rough and ready mastiff The Big Paw and her upstairs T' Big Snore.
There are sessions available in half term week for families to book onto to work with Tom and Shirley to create these characters.
