New project: Legacy 6
We are pleased to announce that that we are part of the Legacy 6 programme where we will support young people aged 18-24 years old who are furthest from the labour market into employment or training.
Bob Adams will be our Coach Plus from now until December 2019 and will provide tailored support that meets young people’s individual needs for both wellbeing and employment. 20 young people who have been identified from our Talent Match programme will work with Bob and an experienced team of occupational health therapists and counselors to move into appropriate employment, apprenticeships, training or education.
Bob says: “I’m really pleased to be able to continue working with some of the young people I began working with through Talent Match. We saw plenty of success stories from small personal accomplishments to gaining employment in their chosen field and to completing educational studies.”
As part of Legacy 6 we will also be running our highly successful Rehearsal for Life course which use applied theatre techniques to allow participants to develop the skills needed for work and personal life. These will run across South Yorkshire and you can watch the short film below to find out more.
Legacy 6 is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
