Interstellar Space Jam with musician Rob Pearson
Blast off through time and space with the guidance of DJ and producer Rob Pearson and take part in a creative and fun filled interstellar music jam with other likeminded sound explorers. You will get the chance to create some unique out of this world futuristic music with your newly formed space crew at The Point. Help Rob Co-Pilot our space station of sounds and get hands on with midi controllers, drum pads and a variety other music tech gear. Rotate around the hi-tech terminals and have a go at some of the different interfaces. Maybe even add some vocals that get turned into a robot or space creature! We will produce a unique soundscape together launching futuristic instruments, Sci-Fi sounds and vocal phrases and weave these into a space themed musical masterpiece. No musical experience is necessary and you can take away the group music created together in the session.
Suitable for children aged 5 – 11+
All of our activities are fully inclusive. Morning sessions are specifically designed for children and young people with disabilities and their families.
